Still Winter: The Lingering Snow
Here we are, well into March, and it feels more like we’re stuck in a winter wonderland than gearing up for spring. With a solid four feet of snow still blanketing the ground and temperatures refusing to budge above freezing, it’s a challenge to imagine the flowers blooming and the sun shining. Yet, despite the chilly weather, we hold onto the hope that spring is just around the corner.
Exciting Plans for Summer Adventures
On a brighter note, our summer vacation RV trip is officially planned! I'm already buzzing with excitement, and I can’t wait to capture all the moments on my YouTube channel, Hawaii of the North. This trip will be a perfect opportunity to explore new sights and whip out my camera for some fantastic footage. If you enjoy travel content, be sure to stay tuned!
Woodworking Workshop Updates
Meanwhile, I’ve been busy in the workshop. I recently received a hefty order for 50 custom engraved gift boxes. It’s such a satisfying project to work on, and to make the process smoother, I decided to invest in a new xTool S1 laser cutter. My old machine was slowing down, and I knew it was time for an upgrade. This new addition will not only help me complete the current order but also expand the Northern Tide Woodworks business significantly.
I’m also thrilled to share that I’ve rebranded my shop with a fresh name and logo, which really reflects my passion for woodworking. Northern Tide Woodworks is now official! It’s incredible how a change like this can reignite creativity and motivation.
So here’s to a hopeful transition from winter to spring, exciting travels, and flourishing business endeavors. As always, let’s roll and as we venture out, remember to be careful out there! Each day brings new opportunities, and I look forward to sharing this journey with all of you.
